Sumatra Aceh Mandheling (medium dark)
This coffee is produced by many smallholders in Sumatra, each generally only growing one to two acres of coffee. Sumatran coffees are renowned for deep earthiness and sweetness, and are often roasted fairly dark, accentuating the tobacco and dark chocolate flavors. Ours is roasted medium-dark, where we also get notes of horehound candy. It is used as a bass note in our Better Days Blend.
