Better Days Blend
Overall a medium roast, centered around an earthy Papua New Guinea and a balanced Guatemala Huehuetenango, with dark Sumatra and light Ethiopia rounding out the mix. Tasting notes: complex and balanced, with chocolatey-cherry sweetness balanced by a touch of dark earthiness and light floral notes. This coffee doesn't guarantee better days, but it's a good start!
Brazil Salmo Plus Natural
From the Cerrado region of Brazil, this coffee is a blend of coffees from twelve different farmers. A sweet and nutty coffee, there are tasting notes of milk chocolate and date as well as a slight spiciness.
Magical Mystery Blend
Overall medium-dark, with a chewy dankness that makes it seem darker than it actually is. Centered around a mellow, chocolatey Colombia, it is rounded out by some Guatemala Huehuetenango and some Ethiopia Sidamo, with a dank bass note punch coming from the addition of Vietnamese Robusta, which also kicks up the caffeine content a little and creates a gorgeous crema when used in espresso.
Guatemala Huehuetenango Organic
From organic-certified farms in the renowned Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, this is our most popular single-origin coffee. Balanced, full-bodied and complex with tasting notes of chocolate, caramel and blackberry.
Papua New Guinea Jimi River Tribal Organic
This coffee is a major component in our popular Better Days Blend. Sweet, full-bodied and earthy with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, and dried fruit.
Colombia Valle Del Cauca Sugarcane Decaf
Decaffeinated using the fermentation products from post-process sugarcane stalks, this decaf is full-bodied and flavorful enough to stand up against regular coffees. Tasting notes of milk chocolate and cherry.
Costa Rica Cordillero de Fuego Térmico
This microlot coffee is processed using an experimental process involving heating the coffee beans during the pre-drying fermentation period, hence the "Termico," or "thermic" in the name. The result is a coffee with an exceptional tart fruitiness combined with a lovely sweetness, giving the overall flavor a candy apple effect, with notes of sour apple and caramel. Light-medium roast.
Sumatra Aceh Mandheling
This coffee is produced by many smallholders in Sumatra, each generally only growing one to two acres of coffee. Sumatran coffees are renowned for deep earthiness and sweetness, and are often roasted fairly dark, accentuating the tobacco and dark chocolate flavors. Ours is roasted medium-dark, where we also get notes of horehound candy. It is used as a bass note in our Market Blend.
Colombia Huila El Bombo Organic Excelso
This organic coffee is sourced from an association of small producers within Huila Department (similar to a state), the largest coffee producing area of Colombia. It forms the smooth, full-bodied backbone of our Magical Mystery Blend, contributing its notes of chocolate, almond, and dried cherry.
Honduras Finca Las Moras Parainema Honey
Produced at a farm that also functions as a teaching lab for coffee farming best practices, the "honey" in the name refers to a processing method somewhat intermediate between the more common washed and natural methods. The resulting coffee is complex, lively, and balanced, with notes of citrus, berry, and brown sugar.
Ethiopia Guji Adola Washing Station G2 Natural
From the birthplace of coffee, where much of the coffee is harvested from wild, native plants. Light and bright, surprising and lively, with tastes of berry, dried apricot, jasmine and honey.
Nicaragua Jinotega Hacienda la Bastilla Washed
This smooth, mild coffee is produced on a Rainforest Alliance-certified estate which is doing lots of cool things to protect its environment and improve the lives of local people. This is a low-acid coffee with predominant chocolate flavors, medium sweetness, and a slight, fruity brightness.
